Midwest Police Motorcycle Training is sponsoring an annual event which is a First-of-a-kind Annual Skills Competition and Safety Seminar within the Chicagoland area. This event brings both civilian riders together with Police Motor Officers (Active and Retired) competing in the same event. The event is meant to bring these two communities closer together, as well as provide an environment that is fun and exciting for the whole family. Yet, this event is focused on enhancing motorcycle safety and awareness. Moreover, it provides exposure to new techniques and methodologies for motorcycle control and safety. Both Civilian and Police Motor Officers will be able to learn from top instructors as well as riders on the safety of operating their motorcycle, while having some spirited competition. The improved aptitude from competitions has directly correlated to improved ability in real-life situations, such as experiencing an emergency riding incident while operating your motorcycle. In this event, there are division classes tailored for various level of rider skills, including:
The competition's novice level is similar riding capability to our Civilian Primary course. Whereas the competition's Intermediate and Expert level capability maps closely to our training program's civilian Advance 1 and 2 levels, respectively.
